A renowned master knifemaker, Stéphane Rambaud was born in Lyon in 1968. Trained at the prestigious Nogent Cutlery School, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Apprentice in France in 1987, a distinction recognizing outstanding artisanal excellence. After a distinguished career within the French cutlery industry, he joined the Forge de Laguiole workshops in 2005. There, he creates exceptional folding knives, inspired by his own artistic vision or made to order, while remaining faithful to the aesthetics and spirit of the authentic Laguiole knife.
