The Guillochage
The Guillochage, a goldsmith’s skill, is the decoration composed of different line patterns, elaborated on the spine of the spring of the folding knife or the silk of the table knife.
The Guillochage

The Guillochage, a goldsmith’s skill, is the decoration composed of different line patterns, elaborated on the spine of the spring. Here, the bee and the spring are completely hand sculpted by our Master-Knifesmiths.

The Monobloc
The monobloc, with its sober and elegant lines, is made in one piece in excellent steel forged at 1000°. It has a blade that combines the advantage of exceptional cutting performance with outstanding resistance to corrosion. The handle offers a particularly precise grip thanks to its shape.
The Bee

The bee is a traditional symbol on our knives. The legend goes that the Napoleonic imperial symbol was attributed to the citizens of Laguiole by Emperor Napoléon himself as a tribute to their courage shown in the services to the emperor.

The Handle

The handles, whether made of wood, horn, bone or from other rare materials such as mammoth teeth or stingray skin, are individually selected, sculpted and handset by our Master-Knifesmiths.

The Bolsters

The two bolsters (mitres) are forged and fixed on a metal liner, which will be drilled before the assembly. These massive steel bolsters help to protect the handle during daily use.
