The Polishing
Each Forge de Laguiole® knife will be polished on cotton or linen rubs with polishing paste to give it all its sparkle.
Here, the human hand reveals all the nobility of the handle materials and refine the metallic parts of the knife. There are two types of finishes: shiny and satin.
- For shiny finish, we use cotton cloth.
- For mat finish, we use an abrasive scrub.
The polisher always starts with the blade before polishing the handle.
