This 12cm folding knife and sommelier knife, Forge de Laguiole COLLECTION - 2025 edition, have a heart of mammoth ivory handle with a high polish finish. The folding knife has a full mammoth ivory handle, a stainless steel Damascus blade, chiseled plates on the top and bottom, and a hand-chiseled bee and spring. The sommelier knife also features a hand-chiseled bee, spring, and plates, as well as a lever engraving with an elegant pattern. The box set also includes a black leather sheath.

The blades are hot forged from French steel (T14), made especially for Forge de Laguiole®, providing an exceptional cutting edge while guaranteeing a high durability.
The Sommelier knife was created in collaboration with professional Sommeliers and thus gives it its ergonomics, elegance, and efficiency.
Our Forge de Laguiole knives are handmade in our Forge de Laguiole cutlery workshop in Laguiole, Aubrac, according to the cutlery-making tradition dating back to 1828.
The handle of this knife is made of mammoth ivory. The material of natural origin their appearance (colour, veining, grain) is likely to vary from one item to another. The photos on our official online shop are not contractually binding. The size indicated indicates the length of the closed knife.

The bee on our knives from the Collection series by Forge de Laguiole® is chiselled by hand with a file and awl. According to legend, the presence of Napoleon's imperial symbol is a tribute to the courage of the people of Laguiole by Napoleon himself.
Opening the finest vintage wines with sometimes fragile corks requires the perfect tool. With our sommelier knives you can open even old wines with ease - thanks to the conical spindle with five turns.
Precious wood, horn, bone or even mammoth molar - we carefully select the materials for our handles. By hand, our knifemakers carve and shape each individual handle.
Your Laguiole knife requires a minimum of care to stay in good condition and guarantee its longevity.
Do not get your knife wet. We advise you to wipe the blade of your knife with a cloth after each use.
It is necessary to accompany the blade when closing your knife to avoid dulling the edge with a brutal closing.
The closing notch of your folding knife needs to be greased regularly.
