For those who haven’t yet seen the beautiful Laguiole ‘Bras Soulages’in September, here’is your chance! The Maison et Object tradeshow is the perfect opportunity to (re) introduce the Laguiole ‘Bras Soulages’, designed in collaboration with Michel Bras for the opening of the Soulages museum in Rodez (Aveyron). The knife has been a great success so far, with much interest by regional Rodez retailers as well as national and international attention.
The Laguiole team will also highlight the Laguiole Belem, presented to the public a few weeks ago. This exceptional knife reflects the spirit of the historical ship Belem and has been crafted from the beautiful wood of the recently restored three-master.
Forge de Laguiole takes this opportunity in early 2015 to introduce a new satin finishing on a variety of models. Knives, cutlery and sommeliers made from cow horn, bone or antlers that were only available in a glossy finishing are now also available in a satin finishing.
The subfossil oak wood is used in the knives and cutlery range, crafted from a submerged log that is 5,000 years old and comes from the depths of the Rhine, comes in “cœur du bois” (the heart of the wood) or the rarer “écorce de bois “ (wood bark.).
These Laguiole pocketknives are party-ready! Designed with intention, these pocketknives have a youthful design with a glittery gold and aluminum handle to please everyone. New, with contemporary colors, these knives look great. Enjoy sun-filled days!
These versions of Sommeliers, created by Virgilio Muñoz and Stéphane Rambaud, fit perfectly in the Collection range. These Forge de Laguiole Sommeliers have new traditional bees featuring a bunch of grapes instead of smooth bee. New materials and finishes will appear on this iconic corkscrew: Aubrac cow horn, subfossil oak…
