An exclusive tricolour knife : the “Best of France America” Laguiole
Thanks to our partners Comité Régional du Tourisme, Région Midi-Pyrénées and Europe, Forge de Laguiole will exhibit at the 3rd edition of Best of France in New York on september 26th & 27th 2015 that will take place in one of the most visited place in the world between Times Square and Broadway… the heart of Manhattan.
On this occasion, you will be able to meet Stéphane Rambaud who will hand chiselled his collector’s knives on the booth during the event!
To celebrate this unique occasion and as a tribute to the US flag and mythic eagle’s head, the famous manufacturer located in Laguiole decided to forge an exclusive tricolour knife : the “Best of France America” Laguiole.
This very special model was created by Stéphane Rambaud, one of the best cutler men at Forge de Laguiole, who will be there to demonstrate his artistic know-how all the event long in New York !
This “Best of France America” is a folding knife (12 cm when closed) with a matt stainless steel blade (forged in the best French steel). The handle reproduces the 3 colours that unit our 2 countries (blue, white & red), the spring is hand chiselled and decorated with 13 stars (as a souvenir of the 13 stars of the 1st American flag in 1776). For this very special occasion, the usual bee is sculpted as an eagle’s head of course !
